Summer Strings 2020
Summer Strings will be offered again in August, 2020, following a timeframe and format similar to the successful 2019 event. Check out the 2019 information below as a general guideline to what will be happening in 2020. More detailed information for 2020 will be posted early in the new year.
Summer Strings 2019
Summer Strings provides a week of fun and skills-development for young string students at various levels – Junior Week August 26-30 for beginning and younger string students, and Chamber Week August 19-23 for intermediate and advanced string students.
Summer Strings also includes a Chamber Music Festival, a series of public concerts featuring visiting world-class artists, who also work with the Chamber Music students.
There‘s also an opportunity for adult string players from the community to work and schmooze with our visiting artists on Tuesday evening, August 20.
To register for Junior Week or Chamber Week, please view or download the Summer Strings 2019 information and registration form.

Summer Strings 2018 was a great success, providing a number of well-received programmes for younger and older students, adult string players, and concert goers over a two-week period. A huge thank-you to our sponsors and donors, our faculty, guest artists and volunteers, and to those who participated in our programmes and came out to our concerts.
